Whatever Happend?

I know it's been a little while since my last post, however I've been pretty busy with work(s). Ha, however, this post I just had to write. It's my whatever happened to... post. Hope you enjoy the read.

Top Hats and Fancy Balls
Quite funny how I thought about this, I'll also move on to it in the next section of this post. I was watching Firefly, what a fantastic series. I was watching the episode where the captain and the mechanic go to a ball, for smuggling. Now this got me thinking. Whatever happened to the great British way? Civilised, where we all wear top hats and carry pocket watches? - Doors are held open for people, and qualities in a person were admired, instead of criticised. Arguments were settled man to man with fisticuffs. Now we have to stand by and watch fights, whilst someone calls the authorities, which by when they arrive, everything all over, and they've legged it... However, attitudes have changed, even with the older generation. The older generation should know better. For example, when I hold a door open for someone, why do they not say thank you? - It's polite. Which is why they get upset when if they don't say thank you, I walk up to them, and say "DON'T WORRY, THANK YOU"... What the fuck is wrong with people??? This new modern attitude is not something I find so agreeable. Its not just a change of times, its something that the British public have been credited with, and now forgotten. People are ignorant, stupid, and rude... Not a Britain I like at all.

Second Helpings Please...
Firefly, the wonderful si-fi series which was ended so prematurely. Why! oh why! Bring it back, it was such a great series! - I've been watching the series again and the film also recently. It's just reminded me of what we're all missing. If you haven't seen Firefly or Serenity... Go pick yourself up a copy. Hell, get 2!
