LAN Party's! - Dang I'm a Geek

A good geek
Every good geek knows the importance of a good LAN party, and if they don't, they aren't a proper geek. Although I do hate the term geek, but you know, I guess I am, but I would like to let you all know, I do have a life outside of computers, as small as it is, and I still hate people.

Playing Games
We can all play online these days, and it has killed the old LAN party a bit, however at least its a bit more social, and you don't have to play games the entire games, you can have pizza and chat about things. Although we play Company of heroes (my new mod, got some more play testing, fix's are now in progress and a new release soon). We also play the new classics and check out any of the new games out, like my friend bill has Bio shock, it seems pretty cool but disappointed to see no multi player! Also Bill is working on a really good Homeworld 2 - Total Conversion mod, he's making 3 new sides for it, and already has working beta's, he's putting new models in too!

We have a giga-bit land setup, which is great for us to transfer our 'legal' data to one another like possibly 'legal' movies and 'legal' games.

Its great to play against people online.

The forgotten pastime
LAN party's like I've said have been a bit forgotten so go to your friends and arrange one toady, all you need is a car, some PCs and a lust for gaming!
